Snow and snow and more snow

It has so far been a really great winter.  The storms just keep coming.  The snow in our yard has been unbelievable.  It's not so much fun shoveling but it was super fun building a snowman!  I hope the storms keep on coming.  It's been a bummer not seeing the sun and I could definitely use some vitamin D, but it has been really fun seeing it accumulate in the mountains.  Jerry and I spent a morning backcountry skiing/snowboarding with another friend.  The amount of snow was awesome and also a little hard to manage, but I'll take it!

 

Christmas Day!

 We really had a pretty chill month of December.  We skied and we just hung around a lot.  The snow was really fun and it was a great time to spend together.  Abby was so excited for Christmas.  She asked for a speed Rubik's cube and that was really the main thing on her list.  It was definitely all she talked about.  I was really proud of Kate and Sara.  We found out they had been donating to Bingham's fund raiser on their own.  They are pretty good kids.

On Christmas Eve we had our friends the Salmons over.  This is the snap Sara sent me and we all loved it. Sloan is such a cutie and loves the cameral already.  😂

The highlight for me on Christmas Day was talking to Matt.  He called after our church when we were opening our presents that were under the tree.  He was very nice and sent us all a t-shirt and scripture case that he had bought in Mexico.  I can't wait until next Christmas when he'll almost be coming home!  It was weird without him around.❤️

We spent the afternoon with Peggy and her family and it was fun hanging out with them.  The rest of the break was also pretty chill.  It was nice having everyone home more and more time to be together.

Rocky Mouth in December!

 We did it!  Abby and I had so much fun hiking to this waterfall each month over this year.  It was a really fun little project to do.  I think I loved it a little more than Abby.  The last couple of months I had to remind her of the goal because she wasn't super excited about going again.  But November and December were two of the coolest months so I'm super glad that we went!  Abby still thinks that February is her favorite month, but I think December is mine.  We've gotten so much snow and it was really cool to see.  Abby will be happy to not have to go each month, but I'm really curious to see how it looks right now so...
